Te Kura - Early Childhood Education

Early Childhood Te Kura offers a free, individualised programme for ākonga/learners aged two to six years old. It is designed by registered early childhood kaiako/teachers who are based in Wellington.
An individual learning programme is developed in partnership with you, your whānau and Te Kura kaiako, using the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum - Te whāriki.
Regular communication is essential for the programme, and we hold regular events that give the chance for your and your tamariki to meet others in the area.
There are no enrolment fees for students who meet the Ministry of Education’s funded enrolment criteria.
