A celebration of the little luscious red fruit

Held on the second Saturday of December each year the Waimate Strawberry Fare is always a popular event for locals and visitors alike. Stalls include arts and crafts, clothing, jewellery, plants, entertainers, food from around the world and of course, the star of the event - Strawberries!
