John Street Kindergarten offers

• Up to 30 hours free teaching for 3-4 year olds per week

• Spaces for children 2 years to 6 years (half days or school day places)

We employ fully qualified and registered teachers/kaiako, who are supported by a teacher aide. The programme offers a balance of routine and play to provide tamariki with the opportunity to become confident and competent life long learners.

We are an enviroschool and our programme is enriched with opportunities for gardening and sustainability. We have a warm and homely environment with kaiako skilled in supporting social and emotional development. We welcome whānau to come and see us and up an enrolment pack.

We offer a positive food environment where your child is able to manage their food choices from their lunchbox. We can offer flexibility in days that you want your child to attend. We also welcome whānau to visit and participate in our learning programme.
