John Street Kindergarten is a mixed age setting for learning, allowing children to learn from each other and together.

As a Enviroschool, the kindergarten is continually finding ways to become more sustainable in caring for their environment. Tamariki are actively engaged in caring for their Kindergarten pets and gardens.

Tamariki are supported by qualified teachers and a teacher’s aide.

John Street Kindergarten offers

• Up to 30 hours free teaching for 3-4 year olds per week

• Spaces for children 2 years to 6 years (half days or school day places)
