Bushtown Heritage Site is a window into the last 150 years of bushman and early settler communities of Te Waimatemate

Bushtown is a 7 ha site with native Bush and Forest , Bushman’s Huts, Edwardian Cottage, Steam Sawmill, replicating the lifestyles of the Early Settlers and Bushmen in Te Waimatemate.

A Miniature railway is currently being developed.
